Service Terminal Rotterdam is a multipurpose fuel terminal in the Botlek area in the Port of Rotterdam. And STR is in full swing. The challenge for their new website was that it not only that it has to communicate their current versatile capabilities, but also that it has to convey their vision for the future, including the expansion that is currently taking place.

By building the site modularly on the basis of a number of key concepts, the information architecture and navigation is transparent and accessible. This has resulted in a user interface that is as simple as it is effective, allowing all the desired information to be found quickly and intuitively.
This clear structure also makes the CMS very user-friendly – not unimportant for a company that is so on the move and where STR employees have to be able to easily update information by themselves.
We also make sure that the SEO is in place to make sure you score high on the page ranking. We know how search engines crawl and index your content and we ensure that the basic on-page factors are optimised.
/// STRIKING INTERACTIVE AND VISUAL EXPERIENCE
The success of the STR terminal is the combination of state-of-the-art equipment and highly certified people controlling the equipment. In the photography – by Eric Bakker – we have visualised this interaction between man and equipment, resulting in striking terminal photography. Interactive elements, like the current-to-future swipe for the terminal provide a good insight into where the expansion of the terminal will take place. All these elements tell the impressive and complete story of STR.
